چکیده

Prostate cancer (PCa) is a leading cause for death in men and the most commonly diagnosed malignancy globally. MicroRNA (miR)‑583 expression levels have been discovered to be downregulated recurrent PCa samples compared with non‑recurrent cases. However, precise functions pathogenic mechanism of miR‑583 development are vague, thus aim present study was investigate these. The Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) tissues cell lines were analyzed using reverse transcription‑quantitative PCR western blotting. protein phosphorylated (p)‑STAT3 STAT3 also effects JAK1 on proliferation invasion determined MTT Transwell assays, respectively. binding interaction between 3'‑untranslated region predicted by TargetScan, further validated dual luciferase reporter assays lines. results revealed that downregulated, while those upregulated (DU145 PC3). transfection mimic inhibited invasion, as well downregulating p‑STAT3 DU145 PC3 These partially abolished following overexpression JAK1. Moreover, identified target gene negatively correlated tissues. In conclusion, findings suggested may inhibit cells targeting JAK1, providing novel therapeutic patients PCa.

MiR-493 suppresses the proliferation and invasion of gastric cancer cells by targeting RhoC

Objective(s):MiRNAs have been proposed to be key regulators of tumorigenesis, progression and metastasis. However, their effect and prognostic value in gastric cancer is still poorly known. Materials and Methods: Gastric cancer cell lines were cultured. Tissue samples obtained from 36 gastric cancer patients were used for quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) analysis. The tissue microarrays (T...

miR-506 inhibits cell proliferation and invasion by targeting TET family in colorectal cancer

Objective(s): Ten-eleven translocation (TET) family members have been shown to be involved in the development of many tumors. However, the biological role of the TET family and its mechanism of action in colorectal carcinogenesis and progression remain poorly understood. Materials and Methods:We measured the expression levels of TET family members in colorectal cancer (CRC) specimens, in the c...

miR-92a promotes hepatocellular carcinoma cells proliferation and invasion by FOXA2 targeting

Objective(s): MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are considered as powerful, post-transcriptional regulators of gene expression in hepatocellular carcinoma cells (HCC). However, the function of miR-92a is still unclear in HCC. Materials and Methods: Expression of miR-92a in human HCC cell lines was evaluated using qRT-PCR. MTT assay and transwell assay were used to examine the function of miR-92a in HepG2 and ...
